Four Rose Cottage is nestled amongst a terrace of quaint Devonshire cottages in the centre of Bishops Tawton village. Set amidst the beautiful Taw Valley within a stones throw of two popular village pubs, it is a pretty thatched dream.
Once inside and as you would expect, the cottage is quaint, with beams and low ceilings, offering a warm welcome. The entrance opens directly into the living/dining room with beams and gas coal effect fire for cooler evenings.
The separate kitchen features fitted units, granite work surface and Belfast sink, with a step to the modern ground floor bathroom. Cottage style stairs off the living room lead up to two character bedrooms on the first floor with beams, and the double bedroom featuring an iron bed. The smaller bedroom has a full size single with a pull out/put up bed underneath.
Please note ample wardrobe space is provided on the landing. There is a rear enclosed courtyard garden. The nearest main town is Barnstaple, just over a mile, with excellent shopping, or local village shops can supply a range of provisions.
Four Rose Cottage will fulfil all expectations of a cosy thatched retreat, ideal for couples or a small family, seeking a central location all year round.
